The Jets (UK)

1978 –

British rockabilly trio formed in Northampton in 1978 by the Cotton brothers — Bob on lead vocals and double bass, Ray on lead guitar and Tony on drums — after an earlier folk and rock group called Brad. Their debut single Rockabilly Baby came out on Soho Records that same year; they signed to EMI in 1981 and reached the UK chart with Yes Tonight Josephine and Love Makes the World Go Round. The line-up has never changed.
