Anglo-American boogie-woogie, blues and jazz pianist, born near Southampton, England, in 1965. Based in the United States since 1988, he played with Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys from 1997 and leads the Carl Sonny Leyland Trio, formed in 2003.
