Flea Bops (US)

1992 –

Traditional rockabilly band from the Washington DC area, formed as a four-piece in April 1992 out of the break-up of Go Cat Go, in which Lance LeBeau had played drums. The line-up is a family affair: brothers Preston LeBeau on guitar and Lance LeBeau on drums, with Lance's wife Wendy LeBeau on upright bass and vocals. Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Ronnie Joyner played with them from the start until his death in March 2022 at the age of 58; the band has continued since as a trio with Wendy taking the lead vocals. They have toured widely in the United States and played festivals in Las Vegas and Spain. The LeBeaus also run the side projects Twilite Ramblers and Wendy LeBeau & Her Beaus, and co-founded the Vinylux Records label with Joyner.
