Chuck Mead (US)

Chuck Mead is an American singer, guitarist and bandleader originally from Lawrence, Kansas and based in Nashville. He was a founding member of the 1990s honky-tonk revival group BR5-49, and his solo albums include Journeyman's Wager (2009), Free State Serenade (2014) and Close to Home (2019). In 2008 he became music director and supervisor for the Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet, later filling the same role on the television series Sun Records.
