The Boogie Playboys (HK)
2009 –
Hong Kong rockabilly band playing originals and covers in English and Cantonese. Formed in 2009, they put out the album BIG ROD in 2012 and took the name The Boogie Playboys in 2013 after their singer left, following it with the single 800 Dollars to a Wedding. They nod to the canto-rockabilly of Sam Hui, and they run the Dirty Boogie Rockabilly Festival, the main event for the style in Hong Kong.
