Surfin' Lungs (UK)

1981 –

British surf band formed in Bracknell, Berkshire, in 1981 by singer and guitarist Chris Pearce and guitarist and organist Geoffo Knipe, both previously of the new wave group The Items. They pair the surf of Dick Dale, The Beach Boys and Jan and Dean with the power-pop drive of The Monkees and the Ramones, and have been playing the British and European surf circuit ever since.
