Kiti Gartner & the Drifting Valentines is a band out of Washington DC who play western swing, rockabilly, old country with a pinch of jump blues. Their influences include music from the 1940s and on, including almost everything that came out of The Quonset Hut, RCA Studio B in the 50s/60s, Sun Records, Bakersfield and some of the greats of western swing. Kiti Gartner (vocals and rhythm guitar), Zachary Sweeney (lead guitar), Steve Wolf (upright bass), Brian Alpert (drums). Established in 2013, and re-formed in 2017, the Drifting Valentines are working on their first release hoping to be completed this winter.
