The first edition of the Rockin' Doo Wop Gran Canaria Festival was held from 16 to 18 June 2017 at the Parque de Santa Catalina in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with free admission. The Jive Aces from the UK closed the festival on the Sunday afternoon, with I Turbolenti from Italy, The Big Jamboree and The Velvet Candles from Catalonia, Los Volidos from Asturias and a Canarian contingent including Tacande Phantom from La Palma and Los Contratiempos from Tenerife. Alongside the concerts the park hosted a vintage market, a burlesque show, dance workshops, talks, a food area and a children's play zone.
