The 24th Rhythm Riot marked the festival's return after the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled, and it was the first one to move from November to October, billed by the promoters as "great new dates for longer days and warmer weather". Four days and nights of 1950s rhythm & blues and roots rock 'n' roll at Pontins, Camber Sands, with an international array of 26 bands and more than 85 hours of DJ sessions across three venues. Thursday opened with the all-valve, all-vinyl R&B Rent Party, and the weekend closed with the All-Star Winter Dance Party, an hour-long homage to the show of 2 February 1959 in Clear Lake, Iowa, with Lil' Mo singing Buddy Holly, Marcel Riesco singing Ritchie Valens, Gordon & David Doel singing The Big Bopper and Charlie Thompson singing Dion, backed by The Dynaflos. Also featuring the vintage clothing mall, indoor flea market, classic & custom car cruise, beauty parlor and barber, and late bars.
