The second Hangar Rockin' was held on Saturday 5 July 2003 at the Birrfeld airfield in Lupfig, Aargau, running from noon to 3am. Ray Collins' Hot Club headlined the evening in the hangar, with western swing from 49 Special, rockin' blues from Bo Weavils Blues Band, traditional surf from Reefrider and Hawaiian sounds from The Hula Trio, who also played the open air afternoon. The day combined a cars, bikes and World War Two aircraft meeting for vehicles up to 1968, a car boot sale and a flying display. More than 1,500 visitors attended.
