More info
Long Beach's longest running rockabilly record hop celebrates its seventh anniversary at The Bamboo Club on Saturday 19 September 2026, with two rooms of DJs playing 50s rock'n'roll, doo wop, R&B, surf and exotica, and a live set on stage by The Centuries. Needles drop at 6pm and the party runs until 1am, all ages until 10pm, 10 dollars at the door. The outdoor stage will not be used, so the five bands originally announced for it -- Pachuco Jose y los Diamantes, Los Apaches, Shorty's Swingin' Coconuts, Geo & The Hotwires and The Scimitars -- are no longer on the bill; the promoters say they hope to have them perform at a later date.
