The fourth Hot Rock 'n' Boogie, and the first to add a Friday night pre-party, which became a fixture from this edition on. The Devil's Cut Combo and the resident DJs opened proceedings on the Friday evening, with two full days following in the main hall. Springfields Events Centre, owned by the Springfield Horticultural Society, provided fifteen acres of grounds alongside the halls. Organisers Claire and Neil Seabrook approached the weekend expecting it to be the last Hot Rock 'n' Boogie, but changed their minds once it was under way. Weekend passes were 80 pounds, with the Friday pre-party 15 pounds on top.
