More info

First presentation party for the double compilation CD His-Panic Stomp! ¡Aquí y ahora!, held at Gruta 77 in Madrid on Saturday 14 January 2006, with admission announced at 9 euros. The flyer bills Los Cavernas (Madrid), Hustlers (Madrid), Loveless Cousins (A Coruña), Redneck Cassanovas (Albacete), Vintage 59 (Barcelona), Charlie Hightone & the Rock-It's (Albacete-Guadalajara-Madrid) and Siete Vidas (Madrid), and announces the compilation as a free download through MySpace. Rockabilly Rules (www.rockabillyrules.com) appears on the original flyer as a collaborator on the event, alongside Rocker Paradise and IPunkRock. Contemporary reporting from November 2005 records that the His-Panic Stomp project had been taking shape over several months in the RockabillyRules.com forum, with 37 bands taking part. The event is therefore direct evidence of the RockabillyRules community's activity in the Spanish rockabilly scene of the mid-2000s.
