The Blue Cats - UK Neo + Special Guest: 56# Alley Chaps 6 March 2020 Doors: 20:00 / Start: 21:00 The Blue Cats The Blue Cats are a neo-rockabilly band from the very first hour. Their first two records, from 1981, Wild Night and Fight Back, belong in the record collection of every rockabilly and every psychobilly alike. Clint Bradley's one-of-a-kind voice was already the trademark of this exceptional rock'n'roll band back then. After the release of 'The Tunnel' the band split up in 1992, only to rise from the ashes like a phoenix 11 years later at Hemsby, with none other than Frenzy legend Steve Whitehouse on bass. German audiences have been able to see their outstanding musical quality for themselves on several tours since. The four musicians around Clint Bradley have just released the live CD/DVD 'Live on a Mission'. Now the Englishmen are touring Germany again. Don't miss it! 56# Alley Chaps The story of the Wuppertal band "56# Alley Chaps" began in 2002, when ex-"Scum Rats" guitarist and co-founder Serge Baxley put into practice his plan of devoting himself more to neo-rockabilly with long-standing friends, after "Scum Rats" and a short spell with the legendary "Cruisers". Since then, taking their cue from 80s neo-rockabilly and with influences from psychobilly, surf and melodic rock (many detect traces of post-punk), they have developed their own sound, "NeoBilly Rock", and thrill their audiences with largely self-written songs.
