Ladies and gentlemen, save the date: 29 February, a special evening in Salamanca. First edition of the Jump & Jive Festival. A night dedicated to Swing and Rock & Roll with two live bands, a DJ and a fun dance workshop. Lulu and the Rockets host the evening to mark the official launch of their second album, Jump & Jive. The event begins in the afternoon with a Rockabilly Jive dance workshop led by Belen and Oscar of the Circulo de Baile academy in Madrid. No prior experience is needed, but tickets including the workshop must be bought in advance (limited places). To start the night, a fine vinyl set by the well-known DJ Don Otto. The party continues with two great live bands: Old Memphis from Valladolid, with a curated repertoire of Rock&Roll classics, and Lulu & The Rockets from Salamanca, with their fresh, elegant Rhythm & Blues sound. A great chance to learn this wonderful dance and enjoy music that transports you to the American clubs of the 1940s and 50s. Put on your elegant shoes and come dance.
