More info
Walldorf swings and rocks once more! "Rock'n'Roll is here to stay" is once again the motto as fans of the swingin' 40s and rockin' 50s gather for the 20th Walldorf Rock'n'Roll Weekender. From Friday 29 May to Monday 1 June there are once again four days full of music, events, workshops and exhibitions at the Astoria-Halle. "An event not only for the rock'n'roll fan and record collector", promises Andy Widder, the man behind the event, which takes place under the patronage of the Walldorf association "Rockin' Retro". The weekender is really for anyone interested in music who has a soft spot of some kind for the post-war boom years. Many of the visitors live this lifestyle to the full, and you can see it too when large parts of the audience make the pilgrimage to Baden in old road cruisers and dressed in period style, so that the shapes and colours of the 1950s become visible once more in the streets of Walldorf. Further information Entry to the flea market on Saturday and to Rust'n'Chrome on Monday is free! The same goes for the Astoria Halle on Sunday and Monday from 12.00 to 16.00. Children under 10 have free entry to our weekender. Children aged 10 to 16 pay half the ticket price.
