After a year and a half of a successful tour with 'Los Saxofonistas Salvajes', musician and composer Dani Nel-lo presents the sequel, reclaiming the saxophone's most visceral, subversive role in popular music. On 'Los Saxofonistas Salvajes 2' he pushes beyond tribute, exploring the essence of the 'wild saxophonist' to develop his own voice. He is joined by the same sextet that has worked with him since the project began, an all-star band bringing together some of the best rhythm and blues, jazz and rock'n'roll musicians on the Spanish scene. The new repertoire offers twelve gems in the wild-saxophone tradition, a lineage Nel-lo sees as a chain of musicians stretching back to the 1950s, of which he is a contemporary link.
