Mitch Polzak is known for his energy and showmanship on stage, his connection with the audience, for playing for hours without a break, and for his ability to draw in and entertain a crowd. He builds his shows without a setlist, basing them on the energy in the room. He is currently the mayor of his small town, Port Costa, California, so besides being a respected musician he is also a respected elected public official. Mitch was one of the big surprises of the last Rockin' Race Jamboree, where he amazed and energized the whole crowd, which is why he was encouraged to tour Spain with 15 concerts in 12 days. Mitch Polzak and The Royal Deuces were founded in California in 1999 and have entertained audiences worldwide ever since with their highly original sound and show, playing a wide range of American roots music from rockabilly to honky tonk, including Cajun, bluegrass and surf. His musicians in Spain and Europe are Jesus Lopez on drums, Francis Beard on acoustic guitar and electric bass, and Jarke Creyente on double bass. Tuesday, 5 November, 22:00.
