On 19 March, Jake La Botz arrives from Nashville to present his latest album, recorded with his friend Jimmy Sutton of Hi-Style Records and the band of JD McPherson. The record fuses the classic roots of American music with La Botz's natural leanings toward country, blues, gospel, 1970s rock and roll and 1960s pop. La Botz has toured extensively across the USA and Europe and has opened for Ray Charles, Etta James, Dr. John, Mavis Staples, JD McPherson, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Taj Mahal, Buckwheat Zydeco, Tony Joe White and John Hammond, among others.
