Sixteenth edition of the international festival of 50s rock'n'roll and American roots music of the 1950s: The Rockin Gône Party. For this sixteenth year we will have the good fortune to welcome to the stage - PAUL ANSELL & CHERRY CASINO. The English singer Paul Ansell will be accompanied by the excellent German band Cherry Casino for a show entitled "Elvis 1960's Nashville Sessions", a stirring tribute to Elvis Presley. They have already staged this show on many of the great European rock'n'roll festival stages and have won the admiration of every audience present each time. - FREDDY VELAS & THE SILVERTONES. This Italian group, recognised as one of the best doo wop bands around today, will bring this musical style to the Rockin Gône Party stage for the first time. They will perform several standards of the genre that will bring back a flood of memories! - BLACK RAVEN. This German band is one of the jewels of the current Teddy Boy scene. Strongly influenced by the English bands of the British rock'n'roll revival of the 70s and 80s, their show is made up of a large number of their own compositions. - THE HOODOO TONES, from the north of France, will open the evening. This young rockabilly trio has already worked its way through many of the great European festival stages. Their show mixes numerous original songs with excellently chosen covers. Between each band, 3 DJs will officiate so that the dancers can carry on letting loose on the floor of the salle polyvalente. All around the hall you will find a range of stalls: vintage clothing, records and CDs, 50s knick-knacks, shoes... Outside, in front of the hall, a row of classic and US cars will be there to welcome you the moment you arrive.
