THE METEORS. The Meteors were founded in 1980 by P. Paul Fenech (guitar and vocals), Nigel Lewis (double bass) and Mark Robertson (drums). Before forming the band, Fenech and Lewis had played in other rockabilly bands but left their previous band, Raw Deal, to experiment with a new sound mixing science fiction and horror lyrics with a blend of punk and rockabilly. After around 3,500 concerts, their live show remains explosive, wild and addictive. A cult band led by the charismatic Paul Fenech, and widely regarded as the founders of Psychobilly. LOS MALDITOS. Los Malditos is a band from Valencia formed by Sergio, Carles, Edgar and Ivan. Their music mixes psychobilly, rockabilly and garage, with wild instrumental rock 'n' roll and surf. Powerful guitar riffs, driving rhythms, saxophone arrangements and gritty vocals combine into an energetic, raw sound rooted in the vigorous styles of the 50s and 60s, across three party-spirited albums. Their influences include Link Wray, The Cramps, The Meteors, The Mummies, Demented Are Go and Phantom Rockers. Their lyrics deal with speed, races, escapes, fun, curses and death.
