More info

Béthune Rétro turns the centre of Béthune into a 1950s town for a long weekend from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026, and it is free from end to end. Billed as the biggest rockabilly festival north of Paris, the 2026 edition spreads 47 free concerts across the squares of the old town — Grand'Place, place Foch, place du 73e, place Marmottan, place Lamartine, place de la République and place Saint-Vaast — alongside a parade and show of classic American cars, a vintage market, 1950s fashion contests, a pinball exhibition, DJ sets, a dance floor and a campsite. Friday opens on the Grand'Place with Jay Ernest at 20:00 and Los Moustros at 23:00. Saturday runs all afternoon and night across three squares, closing with Deke Dickerson & the Don Diego Trio at 19:00 and Lou Cifer & the Brimstones at 22:00 on the place de la République. Sunday is the fullest day, with The Courettes, Dylan Kirk & the Savoys, Jake Calypso & his Red Hot and Mitch Polzak & the Don Diego Trio among more than a dozen sets. Organised by Rock'n'Friends, Tadao and the Béthune tourist office, in a town 35 km from Lille and reachable by TER.
