Elvis Presley's first RCA session, Nashville
Two days after turning 21, Presley cut his first sides for RCA Victor at the label's McGavock Street studio in Nashville, among them "Heartbreak Hotel". Steve Sholes produced; Scotty Moore, Bill Black, D.J. Fontana, Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer and the Jordanaires played.
