American band from Philadelphia whose 1955 version of 'Hound Dog' - rearranged from Big Mama Thornton's original - was the one Elvis Presley heard them play in Las Vegas and took for his own. They were on Lee Gordon's Australian Big Show in January 1957 with Bill Haley and His Comets and the Platters.
