20th Hemsby Rock 'n' Roll Weekender, held from 6 to 11 May 1998 at Pontins Holiday Centre in Hemsby, Norfolk, billed as the tenth anniversary of the weekender. Carl Perkins was advertised on the poster as an exclusive UK appearance, but he died on 19 January 1998, four months before the event. The bill also included High Noon from Austin, The Rivingtons, Willie Lewis & the Spuddnicks, The Go Getters from Sweden and Haystack Hi-Tones from Holland.
