The 14th edition of the Rockers Reunion Winter Party, held in January 1997 at the Brixton Academy, London. It was the only year the Reunion was staged there: Old Battersea Town Hall had been filled beyond capacity the previous January, and although the Academy provided the room it did not provide the atmosphere, so the experiment was not repeated. Gene Vincent's Blue Caps headlined, Nero and the Gladiators re-formed specially for the occasion and were carried on stage in a hired Roman chariot, and Johnny Fox and the Hunters also played. More than 2,500 rockers attended, with tickets at GBP 17 on the door. Exact date to be confirmed.
