First edition of the Ubangi Stomp, staged by American Roots Promotion at the Hotel Ambassador Playa in Benidorm on 3 and 4 November 2006. The bill announced in May 2006 was headed by Art Adams, billed as playing Spain for the first time, with Cherry Casino & the Gamblers, The Jackpots, the Round Up Boys, Wild Wax Combo, The Retrophonics, Diana & the Atomics and The Loveless Cousins, and DJ sets from Tall Mark, Rudy, Alex, Moonwolf, Javi Milestones, Tip Top Daddy and The Preacher's Record Hop.
