For those who haven't been before this is a Rockabilly festival based near Weston Super Mare. Easy access (2 mins from M5) set in a beautiful rural area on a lovely farm called Court Farm Country Park. People arrive Friday morning and set up camp (or there are several hotels nearby - see the website link below for hotel details). We have 2 fields of campers, caravaners, Motorhomes etc and a big wild west style saloon with a well stocked 50 foot bar! Friendliest bar staff you will ever meet and plenty of them, so no queuing for hours to get served. Buying a ticket to the Rockin' Round Up also gets you access to the attractions at Court Farm - so you can wander around viewing the animals etc. Some you are even allowed to pet. It's a fantastic weekend. We also have food vendors, clothing stalls, record stalls etc.... Bands include: The Rimshots, Carlos & the Bandidos, The Bob Butfoy Combo, The Drugstore Cowboys and many more along with some great DJs. As has become tradition, BBC Radio will be there and the event will be recorded and the highlights broadcast a week r two later. Geoff Barker will be interviewing bands and punters alike. It all adds to the fun and helps make the Rockin' Round Up one of the best loved events on the Rockin' calendar. Remember, tickets sell fast, so don't hang around and if you are booking hotels, they get VERY expensive nearer the event... booking in advance is ALWAYS much cheaper.
