American rock 'n' roll stars Gene Vincent ('Be-Bop-A-Lula') and Eddie Cochran ('C'mon Everybody', 'Summertime Blues') play the Gaumont Theatre in Taunton, Somerset on Sunday 14 February 1960 — two shows (5:45 and 8:00 pm) on Larry Parnes' pioneering package tour, the first all-rock 'n' roll tour of Britain. Also on the bill was British singer Vince Eager, plus an all-star supporting company. Cochran would die in a car crash near the end of this tour, on 17 April 1960.
