The sixth Rhythm Riot ran from Friday 22nd to Monday 25th November 2002 at Pontins Holiday Centre in Camber, Sussex, and was promoted as the biggest weekender line-up ever seen in the UK. The Crickets, Sun-era rockabilly pioneer Hardrock Gunter, Frankie Ford, saxophonist Jimmy Cavello and doo-wop group The Teenagers with Herman Santiago led the American contingent. King Pleasure, Red Peters and Sophie Garner acted as star comperes, and artists signed autographs and sold merchandise after each show.
