A full week at the Glasgow Empire, Monday 1 to Saturday 6 February 1960, twice nightly at 6.25 and 8.40 — the tour's first six-night residency and its first full variety-theatre bill. The Empire's poster billed 'LARRY PARNES presents TWO SENSATIONAL AMERICAN STARS!' and 'FIRST EVER VISIT TO BRITAIN', over Gene Vincent 'and the Fabulous Wildcats (by kind permission of Marty Wilde)' and Eddie Cochran, 'hit recorder of C'mon Everybody and Summer Time Blues'. Billy Raymond was host and compere; support came from the Viscounts, billed as 'Pye Disc Artistes', the Tony Sheridan Trio 'from TV's Oh Boy', Lance Fortune as 'new singing pianist sensation' and Sally Kelly, 'Miss Personality'. The poster was printed by Richard Whewell (Bolton) Ltd.
