Larry Parnes' Anglo-American Beat Show at the Gaumont on Queen Street, Cardiff, on Friday 26 February 1960 — two performances, at 6.25 and 8.40. The Gaumont's poster billed 'FIRST TIME IN ENGLAND - ONE NIGHT ONLY / THE SENSATIONAL DOUBLE STAR AMERICAN ATTRACTION IN PERSON': Gene Vincent, backed by the Fabulous Wildcats, and Eddie Cochran, with Vince Eager & the Quiet Three plus all star show. Seats were 7/6, 6/6, 5/6, 5/- and 3/6, and the theatre's manager was F. W. Newton. A surviving ticket from the first house is stamped 'FRONT STALLS AA 23, 7/6'.
