A week at the Empire on Briggate, Leeds, from Monday 29 February to Saturday 5 March 1960, twice nightly at 6.00 and 8.15. This is the point where the British half of the bill settled into the shape it kept to the end: Gene Vincent, backed by the Wildcats, and Eddie Cochran over Billy Fury, Joe Brown, Lance Fortune and the Tony Sheridan Trio, compered by Billy Raymond. Cochran and Vincent recorded a session for BBC radio's 'Saturday Club' at the end of the week.
