The old-time Americana singer-songwriter Pokey LaFarge returns to Paradiso with a new band, a new live show and a new album. The ever stylishly dressed crooner from Illinois effortlessly fuses folk with blues, jazz, ragtime and western swing. What does that sound like? Nostalgic and modern at the same time. Or, as he likes to describe it himself: "It's not retro music. It's American music that never died". His last, well-received album 'Manic Revelations' dates from 2017; new music follows in early 2020.
