Hot Rod Hayride

The Hot Rod Hayride is Britain's traditional pre-'66 hot rod and kustom weekender, founded in 2005 by Jerry Chatabox and the Executioners Car Club and run since 2011 by Jerry Chatabox, Anna Stevenson and the Detonators Car Club. Named after the Louisiana Hayride radio show, it pairs a strictly pre-1966 rod and custom show field with live rockabilly and rock'n'roll across a music marquee, a ballroom and late-night clubs, alongside oval track racing, a Sunday soapbox derby, a flea market and autojumble, vintage stalls and camping. It was held at the Bisley Shooting Centre in Brookwood, Surrey from 2007 to 2016, moved to Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent in 2017, paused, and returned to Bisley in 2022 as the Hayride Reunion.
