The first edition, a single Saturday billed on its poster as the 1a Jornada Internacional Rock 'n' Roll and presented by the Welcome Rock 'n' Roll Club of Barcelona together with the 50's Rockin' Club of Balaguer. The poster advertised 50's rockabilly, rock 'n' roll and doo-wop, with six acts from England, Holland, the United States and Spain, and the concert billed to start at 11pm. Admission was 3,000 pesetas on the door and 2,500 in advance. The day also carried a record, clothing and accessory market with tattooists, open-air meals at popular prices, a motorcycle club meet with competition and exhibition, and a rock'n'roll dance-couple contest with prizes. The exact venue is not named on the poster.
