A week at the Liverpool Empire, Lime Street, from Monday 14 to Saturday 19 March 1960, twice nightly at 6.20 and 8.30. Gene Vincent, backed by the Wildcats, and Eddie Cochran topped a bill with Billy Fury, Joe Brown, Georgie Fame and the Tony Sheridan Trio, compered by Billy Raymond. The week is part of Liverpool folklore: several of the musicians who formed the city's beat groups have described queueing for it.
