Lee Gordon's 'Big Show' at the Brisbane Stadium, Charlotte Street, on Thursday 3 October 1957 — two houses at 6.00 and 8.45 pm. Little Richard headlined, with Eddie Cochran, Alis Lesley and Johnny O'Keefe and the Dee Jays on the bill. The tour programme billed Gene Vincent 'and his Bluecaps' as stars of the film 'The Girl Can't Help It' alongside Little Richard's 'complete American 8 piece rock 'n roll band'.
